Dear BICSI Member
BICSI is a professional association, founded in 1974, to support the information transport systems (ITS) industry with information, education and knowledge assessment for individuals and companies.
BICSI is a non-profit making association assisting telecommunications professionals with their careers by providing training, certification, conferences and publications in the design and installation of voice, date and video technologies.
BICSI Ireland was founded in 2003. The membership in Ireland has grown considerably and we currently have members from consulting, engineering, manufacturing, distribution & contractors background.
The establishment of BICSI in Ireland is an exciting development for our industry in Ireland as it provides us with a direct link to over 25,000 skilled professionals and provides the opportunity to tap into a vast knowledge base.
Our Irish Activities are driven by a Steering Committee which include sub-committees working on Education, Administration and Breakfast Clubs. Our Breakfast club’s are free event’s and are a great opportunity for you to meet people in our industry and learn more about upcoming technologies. Breakfast Clubs are a very important part of the BICSI calendar and a valuable service to BICSI members. They provide continuous education programmes for members from a variety of speakers and topics. Topics are selected based on their relevance and interest to our members and industry and educational value. They also provide CEC points for RCDDs.
